Last night's gig(s)

mydyingmachine and the Thought Criminals. I was in! I was so in! Beating ridiculous odds (aka a power outage -- rar for gas cookers) I made it to Mass by 10pm, just before the Thought Criminals were due to go on. I paid my entry fee and went upstairs, saw Mark, who said he'd put me on the guest list. Hurrah (I'm skint!!). So I went downstairs to get my money back, and then the bouncer said I couldn't go back upstairs with my flyers. Booo! Because there was also the traumapet gig going on at Madam Jo Jo's, I couldn't forgo a flyering opportunity, so I just left. SORRY!!!! I owe you a gig!
The good news was, Trauma Pet had just gone on when I got to Jo Jo's, and they were really good and got great big cheers from the crowd. Much more so than the headliner, Blue October, who were basically just bad disco. If you want a band to play at your gay uncle's wedding, this is the band for you, nuff said :)
