1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Put on a successful gig in London. DJ’d in New York. Painted my room purple. Flew within Europe (Italy). Dumped someone by SMS. ;)

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make any, though I did quit smoking, a couple of times, and plan to do so again in 2005 ;P

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes – [livejournal.com profile] prettyinpunk81 and [livejournal.com profile] indestructible

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thankfully

5. What countries did you visit?
The US and Italy.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A legal secretary/typist/finance job, and a place with my Oscar...

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 15 – the Bella Morte gig
Sept 3-6 – the Drop Dead Festival (and my birthday) and then 7-12 in D.C. (more birthday)
October 21 – the Last Dance gig (and snagging Oscar)
October 28-30 - Whitby

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting this job, and some quite pat-on-the-back-worthy achievements within it. And giving Bella Morte a London debut that was as big a success as they deserve.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing, again, to quit smoking. And getting fired from Slimelight.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
BRONCHITIS for a bloody MONTH!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
The purple corset I got at Whitby.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Crash, for being a great friend, and taking care of Caroline’s cats. Squid for giving me a place to live.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The American electorate.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Flights, beer and council tax.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Bella Morte. And The Last Dance.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Dunno really, I don’t listen to the radio much...

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder?
Happier about some things, sadder about others
b) thinner or fatter? Same
c) richer or poorer? Richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Travelling

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Drinking prolly

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my mother in Florida

It appears so...!

Uhhh... less than [livejournal.com profile] barbedwirekiss ;)

Sex and the City

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I hate Cathy less, just because I can’t be arsed

26. What was the best book you read?
None stood out really, though I did enjoy the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series (thanks Alexa!)

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
The Screaming Banshee Aircrew

28. What did you want and get?
A killer debut for Bella Morte, and a corset.

29. What did you want and not get?
A Voltaire gig.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
As usual I didn’t see many films, it’s down to The Passion of the Christ, LOTR3 and Starsky and Hutch, so I’ll go with the Hobbits :)

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
33, I celebrated for a week and a half in London, New York and Washington DC. Doesn’t get much better than that!

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not having to fucking move house.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Finally admitting that I have to throw out some of my favourite, old, worn out things and replace them *sigh*

34. What kept you sane?
I’M NOT SANE! Muwahahahaha!

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jeff from The Last Dance. Teehee.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Well I’m fucking glad I left the US and all its damn Bush voters.

37. Who did you miss?
Nik and Caroline

38. Who was the best new person you met?
OSCAR!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Not to book American bands no one’s heard of on a Wednesday night if you have to buy them a work permit.
