Flyers have been sent off to the printers. See the lovely front and back which can be printed off if you so desire! (Bands listed on the flyer please get in touch with your snail mail or whereabouts so I can get a stack to you, or conversely find me at Gotham)

Now to take a shower, go pay some bills and go to work. Half days off should always be in the morning, it's a waste of time off if you still have to get up early!

Particularly since, last night around 5 am (Which yes, is still "night" if it's three hours before your wake-up time) a group of guys outside decided to entertain themselves for at least 20 minutes by shouting at the top of their lungs "Morning!!" "Hello!" etc. repeatedly to each other. I guess if THEY had to be up at 5 am for whatever reason, EVERYONE was gonna be up at 5 am. I would have opened the window and shouted at them -- which is easier said than done because our window starts around chin level, and overlooks a storefront rather than the street -- except that Oscar slept right through it, lucky bastard. Police, or water balloons? Hmm...

And when I fell back to sleep, I dreamed I was at the Jared Louche gig at Strength Through Joy only hardly anyone was there, [livejournal.com profile] seth6666 was DJing, Jared was playing 70s prog rock, and we had completely missed Gotham AND forgotten to have the flyers printed! Afterwards I wanted to go to Stay Beautiful which was going on downstairs, but Oscar didn't want to, and I had this bizarre desire for a greasy diner-style hamburger, so I went off on my bicycle in fruitless search of someplace open who would do a vegetarian one. On the way back Oscar found some kitchen tools (like these which I have been waiting to buy this weekend) by the side of the road, so we bagged them up to take with us, only I couldn't ride the bike while carrying the bags.

Odd how your subconscious combines your conscious thoughts into something completely bizarre :)

In other news it is a three day weekend but everything is happening on Saturday! I am tempted to bugger off out of town Sunday night, either to Resurgence or to take up [livejournal.com profile] danny_e11's suggestion of New Model Army in Birmingham... however I should probably flyer Inferno... argh!

PS: I love my flyer people. In the time it took to type this entry they are already making my flyers. Rar :)

Man, those chrome ones really are better than the wooden spoons with happy faces we had. I still have one in storage somewhere.

My coffee maker is still better than yours!
